The aim of the Graduate Institute of Curriculum and Instruction is to prepare students in the fields of educationand cultural activities. We embrace an innovative spirit in curriculum theory and practice, instructional theory, methods and materials, assessment, practicum, and community services. Likewise, students are expected to professionalize themselves in creative ways, in order to maximize their professional competence. Training highly qualified professionals with attractive traits and state-of-the-art techniques is our focus. A special emphasis on Waldorf education (Steiner Schooling) is on the way in an initial stage. An experimental Waldorf education institute is scheduled to open in September 2018. A Waldorf education research center is to be establied as well. Experimental and alternative education is encouraged for students to be conduct research and practical training.
